Why do I break out with welts under my armpits nightly?

Male, age 52, I had a case of shingles on my mid section around 2 years ago. I tried different deoderants, no deoderant. It happens in the evenings, and its always gone in the morning. Its been going on for about a month or so. Sometimes it shows up around my waist.
