Is this weather to warm for skiing?

Learning to ski in the slush isn't easy and (unless you already own a bunch of waterproof outerwear) skiing in the rain can kinda suck. Personally, I love skiing in slushy spring snow. Here in PA today the temps were in the 50s and the snow was loose and wet, but not super-sloppy...it was great. I say go for your ski trip unless it's raining steadily. Chances are the beginner areas will be fairly well packed down anyway and the snow just won't be as fast.
