Do you know this scene from TV?

This takes place in the early to mid seventies in a school cafeteria.. It was a tv crime drama. A teenager was in the cafeteria lunch line getting his food. He put in his order. But behind the counter someone put some kind of narcotic in the food he ordered. When he took the food and sat down to eat, he started to have the shakes or something. I don't remember if he died or what. I think the show name was "the Rookies" I'm not sure. It could have been "Mod Squad." But the police was investigating drugs used in the school, and I think these guys were trying to make it look like it was this teenager who was dealing the drugs. This scene pops up in my mind now and then and its been decades since I've seen the show.
