How to relieve Gout..?

I am 18 years old & I think I have Gout. At first I thought my toe was hurting from surgery & a rash from adhesive. But I haven't had any adhesive on my foot in 2 weeks & the rest of my foot feels fine. I can't go to a doctor till next week. Someone please help me? Medicine isn't helping, ice & heat either. The pain is so bad I usually end up crying. I hate crying because I'm 18 & I should be able to handle pain. I'd appreciate any help you can give me.
