Book recommendation, please suggest a good book or book series?

I want to read a new book, I just finished other kingdoms by richard matheson (he wrote I Am Legend which I love). Im kinda open to what kind of book it is. Some of my favorite books are catcher in the rye, frankenstein, i am legend, shutter island, harry potter series, vampire earth series. I would like a series but if not that is fine. I kind of want a book about a pandemic or something along those lines, or a good mystery or fantasy. Any suggestions?
